FAQ

iduo hub 3.0

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:  How does Fast Charging work?

A:  iDuo Hub 3.0 has two Fast Charging USB ports on two sides. To enable Fast Charge mode, just connect only the AC Power cord to the back of iDuo Hub 3.0.

** Please Note: Fast Charge is not supported with all USB devices, please check your USB device’s user Guide for more details.**

Q:  How to use iDuo Hub 3.0 to transfer data?

A:  To use iDuo Hub 3.0 with your USB devices (ex. External Storage, Flash Drive, etc.) to transfer data to and from computer, simply connect the included USB 3.0 cable to your computer, and connect the included AC Power adapter to a power outlet.

Q:  The devices connected to iDuo Hub 3.0 have unstable connections, what should I do?

A:  If your USB device keeps connecting and disconnecting through the Hub, please try connecting the Hub to a different USB port on your computer system. If you connect the Hub through a PCIe to USB add-in card, please check the USB port connection on the add-in card and by connecting the same USB device directly to the USB port on the add-in card instead of through the Hub.

Q:  My USB devices work fine when connected to iDuo Hub 3.0, but when my computer goes into sleep or hibernate, and after I wake the computer up, an error message "Disk Not Ejected Properly" shows up.  What should I do?

A:  iDuo Hub 3.0 would switch to Slow Charge mode when connected to computer, but would switch to Fast Charge mode when computer goes to Sleep or Hibernate. In macOS, if you see “Disk Not Ejected Properly” message when waking up your Mac Laptop with USB devices connected to any of the two Charging Ports, this is a normal behavior of the Hub as it tries to reset its Charging USB ports from Fast Charge to Slow Charge mode.
